New Brew Spotlight: Martin House Brewing Mon, Mar 04, 24 | beer blog Martin House Brewing arrived at Colonial right before the holiday madness began and we didn't have an opportunity to formally welcome them to the store. So: Fort Worth, Texas' own Martin House Brewing has finally landed in Little Rock! Martin House is known for its eclectic brews, ranging from sours and IPAs to lagers and dessert stouts. Established in 2012, they’ve made quite a name for themselves in Texas and beyond. Martin’s taproom features over 40 taps and a new beer is released on site weekly. These guys have a passion for brewing and it shows! Here are the year-round Martin House offerings on our shelves now. Best Maid Sour Pickle If you like pickles, this is the beer for you. It even looks like pickle juice! There is a lot of dill and obviously a lot sourness on this. I've heard it said that Best Maid Sour Pickle pairs nicely with a burger—what better way could there be to enjoy it? Friday IPA This is a solid IPA. LOTS of grapefruit and floral hops on the nose. It follows with some orange, tangerine and pineapple on the palate. Worthy of its IPA name for sure. True Love Raspberry Sour Here’s your new favorite summer beer! This kettle sour gets raspberries added in the fermenter. Light, tart, and refreshing. Salty Lady Gose Before we got Martin House beer, you may have seen the Salty Lady pickles on our Bloody Mary add-on shelf. Well, this gose has that tart pickle flavor. Goses are typically salty (hence the name), but I didn't get a lot of salt on it. This would be another great beer to add to the patio rotation this summer! As you can see, Martin House makes a TON of beer and they constantly update their offerings. I have become a huge fan of these guys and the first opportunity I get will most definitely be visiting the taproom. Check out our selection from Martin House Brewing. I can't wait to see what else we get from these guys! Follow them on Instagram @martinhousebrewing By Josh Liddy
