Game Night

Tue, Jan 16, 24  |  entertaining

We’ve got tips, ideas and recipes to help you create a winning event. Remember, Celebrate Responsibly.

THE INVITATION

Invitations are available at any party store or you can use this one that we’ve created for you. For a small group of twelve or less, it is really nice to mail invitations. If the event is for a large number of guests, it’s easy to create and manage online invitations. There are a number of sites that offer free online invitations.

EASY APPS

A piping bag is one of the easiest, yet most important, kitchen tools available when it comes to entertaining. It helps you create amazing-looking appetizers and desserts, even if they are pre-made. In fact, the Phylo cups and brownies, in these photos, were pre-made.

To create these designs we used the Star Tip with our piping bagClick here to read our blog featuring these recipes!

Fried Chicken Tenders are always a crowd pleaser. Check out our recipe!

Perfect Fried Chicken Tenders

Did you know fried chicken pairs perfectly with Champagne or Sparkling Wine? Choose from our wide variety in store and online or ask any Celebration Specialist for help with the perfect pairing!

Start with boneless skinless chicken tenderloins. Soak them in Low-Fat Buttermilk overnight.

The next day prepare your breading as follows:

INGREDIENTS

  • peanut oil

  • cornstarch

  • salt

  • white pepper

  • granulated garlic

  • cayenne

  • dried thyme

Heat your oil to 350F. Keep the temp with a thermometer. Take your chicken straight from the buttermilk into the cornstarch mixture. Fry until they float about 5-6 minutes. Take them out and toss them in some coarse sea salt.

MYTHE – THE RED DRAGON

  • ¾ oz. Tanqueray Gin
  • ¾ oz. Tito’s Vodka
  • ¾ oz. Bacardi Rum
  • ¾ oz. Gran Gala orange liqueur (okay to substitute Triple Sec)
  • splash Grenadine (adjust to achieve wanted color)

DIRECTIONS

Add the gin, vodka, rum and Gran Gala to an ice filled shaker. Shake vigorously for a good 10 seconds to marry all flavors. Strain into a well-chilled martini glass, being careful to leave room to top with grenadine.
